Frequently Asked Questions

About The Work

  • Astrology helps you understand the patterns behind your emotions, decisions, relationships, and responses to stress. Your birth chart describes how you process conflict, what motivates you, how you attach in relationships, and how you move through change.

    For example:

    • Why do I react so strongly in certain relationships?

    • Why do I feel pulled between two life directions?

    • Why do I keep repeating the same conflicts?

    • Why does burnout hit me even when I’m “doing everything right”?

A reading doesn’t predict events. It clarifies motivations, emotional needs, unconscious patterns, and life phases. Many clients leave with language for what they’ve been feeling, perspective on repeated dynamics, and a clearer sense of how to move forward intentionally rather than reactively.

  • This work is especially helpful for people seeking deeper self-awareness, or those moving through periods of significant change or life transitions. Many clients come to astrology not because everything is falling apart, but because something in their life no longer fits the person they are becoming.

Astrology can be particularly supportive during times such as:

    • a divorce, breakup, or relationship uncertainty

    • dating patterns you can’t seem to break

    • career dissatisfaction or considering a new direction

    • burnout, exhaustion, or loss of motivation

    • grief, loss, or emotional overwhelm

    • becoming a parent or redefining family roles

    • relocating, starting over, or rebuilding after a major life shift

    • a general feeling of being “stuck,” restless, or disconnected from yourself

  • Yes. Not by telling you whether to stay or leave but by helping you understand yourself deeply enough to respond differently. The goal is alignment, not prediction. We don’t answer “Should I stay or go?” Instead, we explore what’s happening underneath the dynamic:

    • Emotional needs that haven’t been met

    • Communication patterns that keep repeating

    • Why you may feel responsible for holding everything together

    • Attachment dynamics that feel familiar but draining

If a relationship feels challenging or out of sync, the chart can help clarify why. Often, relief comes not from being told what decision is “right,” but from understanding the emotional pattern beneath the conflict. That clarity makes healthier boundaries, communication, and decisions possible.

  • Yes. Astrology doesn’t tell you what job to take, it helps you understand how you’re wired so you can choose work that’s sustainable and aligned. Understanding this helps you make career decisions based on your actual needs, not external expectations.

You may look successful on paper yet feel exhausted or disconnected from your work. Rather than immediately recommending a career change, we examine deeper questions:

    • Do you need autonomy or collaboration?

    • Stability or creativity?

    • Structure or flexibility?

    • Recognition, purpose, or freedom?

Burnout is often a misalignment issue, not a motivation issue. Your chart can reveal whether you’re over-functioning, carrying too much responsibility, or suppressing parts of yourself in order to maintain stability.

  • Yes, by clarifying your internal experience rather than predicting the “right” outcome. Again, the goal is alignment, not prediction. Astrology is especially helpful when facing major choices such as relocating, accepting a job offer, starting a business, ending a relationship, or having a difficult conversation.

Instead of forecasting success or failure, we explore:

    • What fears are influencing the decision

    • What motivations are genuine

    • What tends to support or deplete you

    • Whether this season calls for action, preparation, patience, or boundary shifts

Often, the uncertainty isn’t about the decision itself, it’s about identity shifts or unresolved patterns underneath it. Astrology brings awareness to those dynamics so you can choose from clarity rather than pressure, fear, or impulse.

  • This is one of the most common reasons people book a reading. Feelings of self-doubt, questioning, or loss of motivation are meaningful signals, pointing to something in your life that is no longer aligned with who you are becoming. Astrology helps you understand what chapter you’re in and why strategies that once worked may no longer feel right.

    For example:

    • When burnout isn’t about laziness, but identity change. Someone who has always been dependable and productive may suddenly feel exhausted, unfocused, or unsure about the career they spent years building. Rather than a lack of discipline, the chart often reveals a period of reevaluation: where priorities, values, and identity are shifting underneath the surface. The work isn’t to push harder, but to reassess direction in alignment with who you’re becoming.

    • When everything looks stable, but something feels off. You might have steady relationships, a secure job, and familiar routines but feel restless or dissatisfied without knowing why. Astrology can help articulate what part of life is asking for growth and why staying the same has begun to feel uncomfortable, even if nothing appears “wrong” externally.

Astrology won’t remove the crossroads, but it will help you understand why you’ve arrived there and what kind of next step prevents repeating an old cycle.

  • No. Astrology is not a replacement for therapy, and it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

    • Therapy often focuses on healing past experiences.

    • Coaching focuses on goals and accountability.

    • Astrology looks at psychological patterns and life themes through your birth chart and translates them into practical understanding.

A reading is a reflective, insight-based process. We look at psychological patterns and life themes through your birth chart and translate them into practical understanding you can apply in everyday life. For example:

    • If you struggle with people-pleasing, astrology may show where over-responsibility or boundary challenges originate and what emotional needs sit underneath them.

    • Some people thrive with structure and long-term plans, while others need flexibility, creativity, or autonomy to stay motivated. Astrology helps you understand your natural rhythms, which can prevent you from trying to force yourself into a path that was never sustainable for you.

    • If you keep choosing similar relationship dynamics, astrology can highlight unconscious attachment patterns and why certain themes keep repeating.

Many clients find astrology complements therapy or coaching well because it provides a broader life context and a personal blueprint for self-understanding. Rather than replacing other support, it gives language and perspective that can deepen the work you are already doing.

  • You’re welcome here. You don’t need to believe in astrology for a reading to be meaningful. You can simply approach it as a symbolic framework for reflection. Many clients come in unsure and leave surprised by how accurately the chart describes their internal experiences and patterns, and sheds practical insight into past and current issues in their lives.

Skepticism is not a barrier. Curiosity is enough!

What To Expect

  • A natal chart reading focuses on you. It explains your core personality patterns, emotional needs, strengths, challenges, and long-term life themes. It’s the foundation for all future work.

A solar return reading focuses on your upcoming year. It looks at the themes, growth areas, and timing influencing the year from one birthday to the next and places it in context with your larger life cycle.

  • Lunar Nest readings are not fortune-telling or vague spiritual guidance. Astrology is used as a framework for understanding patterns, timing, and emotional themes rather than predicting specific events. The focus is on empowering clients with greater awareness and more intentional choice. When you understand the inner and outer cycles affecting you, you can respond more consciously and make more aligned decisions.

  • No. Some clients arrive with clear questions about relationships, career decisions, burnout, or major life transitions. Others simply feel at a crossroads and want perspective.

You don’t need a perfectly formed question. Astrology provides a structured framework for understanding what you’re going through: why certain themes are surfacing now, what patterns may be repeating, and what this phase of life is asking of you.

If you do have specific concerns, we can absolutely focus there. But if you’re feeling restless, uncertain, or just aware that something in your life no longer fits, that’s more than enough.

You also don’t need prior knowledge of astrology. Sessions are conversational and explained in plain language, not technical jargon. What matters most is curiosity, openness, and a willingness to reflect honestly on your experience.

  • During a reading, we’ll explore your core patterns, emotional tendencies, strengths, challenges, and current life themes. Once a session is scheduled, we meet one-on-one over video. This is not a lecture-style report of everything I see in your chart. The session is highly interactive, reflective, and grounded in practical application.

You’ll be provided a note-taking template to help you capture key points during your reading and to use for integration following our session. After the session, you’ll be sent a recording for you to download and return to as often as you’d like.

  • Most clients begin with a natal chart reading. After that, many return once or twice a year, often around birthdays for a Solar Return reading or during major life changes or big decision points.

Some clients find value in more frequent, shorter sessions (quarterly or monthly) to work with the transits or learn to integrate the moon phases and planetary cycles more deeply into their lives. Sessions can be tailored to your specific interests, needs, and questions.

You don’t need frequent sessions. The goal is to give you understanding you can work with over time, not create dependency.

  • You will need to provide your birth date, birth time, and location at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled session so I have time to prepare your reading. Please confirm your birth time is accurate by double-checking your birth certificate, if possible. Correct birth data is essential to the accuracy of the reading.

No additional preparation is required. You may want to reflect on what’s currently happening in your life or write down specific questions you’d like to explore. I also recommend blocking at least 10-15 minutes prior to the start time of our session to feel settled and making sure you’re in a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be interrupted.

Practical Details

  • An accurate birth time is very important because it determines your rising sign and house placements. Without it, much of the chart can’t be interpreted reliably. If you don’t know your birth time, you can check your birth certificate or ask a parent or relative. If a time truly isn’t available, contact me before booking and we can discuss options.

  • All readings are live and held over video conference. You can join from anywhere in a quiet, comfortable space.

  • Yes. Every reading includes a recording you can download and revisit at any time. I also provide you with a note-taking template to help you capture key points during the session or when you revisit the recording. This note-taking template is useful for taking the information from the reading and integrating it into your life at your own pace.

  • Payment is completed online at the time of booking using standard secure checkout methods (credit or debit card).

  • Sessions can be rescheduled with 48 hours advance notice. Because each reading requires preparation and reserved time, late cancellations or missed appointments are non-refundable.

If something unexpected comes up, please reach out as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you.
